Rode a Ten-Person Bike in ESPN Fantasy Football National Commercial

Hollywood, CA. I had so much fun working on ESPN’s national Fantasy Football campaign, “It’s Fantasy Bonding Season.” The concept is a good one—it takes all those people who somehow find their way back into your life every football season (your college roommate, your old coworker, that one ex…) and turns them into the cast of a ’90s sitcom. My part is the x-girlfriend. Check it out!

For the shoot we did things like rode a 10 person bike, the 10 of us were eating the same ice cream cone, all 10 of us were wearing the same sweater!

The campaign celebrates ESPN Fantasy Football becoming the NFL’s Official Fantasy Game, but instead of focusing on the business side of the partnership, it leans into the friendships, rivalries, and traditions that make fantasy football fun. The retro graphics, original sitcom theme song, and over-the-top opening credits made the whole thing feel like stepping onto the set of a sitcom.

The campaign was created by the team at BSSP, led by Executive Creative Director Sinan Dagli, with Creative Director Andrew Crawford and Associate Creative Directors Paige Goeser and Luke Zehner. It was directed by Mike Bernstein of Alpen, beautifully shot by cinematographer Justin McWilliams, with production design by Kate Wright and edited by Brendan Hogan at MackCut. The original music, composed by Nat Jenkins for Butter Music and Sound, really ties the whole campaign together and gives it that perfect sitcom feel.

It’s always exciting to work on a project that’s genuinely funny, but it’s even better when you’re surrounded by a creative team that’s committed to every little detail. This campaign launched nationally across television, streaming, social media, and digital platforms, and I’m so grateful to ESPN, BSSP, Alpen, and everyone involved for having me along for the ride.
